Greetings Musicians, Producers, Audio Hobbyists!
Now that the UniSyn is shipping, I wanted to make a new prototype, called the DACO160AGC, available for sale as well as offer a steep discount on the earlier DACO160EVK prototype.
The new prototype is very similar to the old DACO160EVK except that it includes automatic gain control (AGC) and an SD card slot to enable easy firmware updates.
Here is a comparison table to help you decide which Second Sound audio-to-synth solution is for you:
Product | UniSyn | DACO160AGC | DACO160EVK |
---|---|---|---|
Price | $419 | $269 | $219 |
Metal Enclosure | X | Mechanical Enclosure Files Available | |
+24v Phantom Power | X | ||
AGC | X | X | |
SD Card Firmware Update | X | X | |
Sustain Pedal Input | X | Momentary Switch | Momentary Switch |
MIDI Envelope Modulations | X | X | X |
Aux Audio Input | Patched Internally to Wet/Dry Mix | X | X |
Adjustable LPF on input | X | ||
Tracking Rates | 3 | 8 | 8 |
Any feature not mentioned in this table is shared by all three products. I wanted to emphasis the MIDI Envelope Modulation being standard in all three products because earlier versions of the DACO160EVK didn’t have this feature.
